Toki’s Organic Farm is the first origin we’ve done the direct trade with. We first met him, Toki,at a Pgakenyor food workshop in 2019. He brought his coffee at the workshop and it was really clean and sweet. At that time we haven’t started LIVID yet but we know we must definitely buy coffee from this producer.
Early 2020, we came to his village to visit his farm. It’s a small village that’s far away from the main road. He brought us into the forest where coffee is grown. All of the coffee trees here live under shade trees. The average temperature is about 22-26C. He had really good potential at altitude and the environment. His coffee processing philosophy is about making coffee cleanest and sweetest as possible. That’s why his natural processed coffee we bought is clean and sweet. He picks the ripe cherries, clean it with water. Then, leave it for 24 hours and dry up on the sunlight for 3-5 days then in a shade 22-25 days til the moisture is optimal.
This is the second year we bought from him. His coffee is brighter and more vibrant in flavour. That’s really good for us. We would like to tell you about this kind of local coffee we love. Let’s try it !!
